Palworld 1.0 Update: Full Release and New Features
Palworld has officially exited Early Access with the release of Version 1.0 on January 23, 2025. The update launched simultaneously on PC (Steam and Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, marking the end of the game’s 2.5-year Early Access period. Source 2
The major 1.0 patch introduced 72 new Pals, along with new systems called Mutations and Awakening. Players also gained access to the World Tree and expanded map areas. In addition, the update revamped story progression, raised the level cap, and improved combat, base-building, and Pal growth mechanics. Source 6
